This could be so many different answers
Here are some that I have thought of, and I am sure that there are many more.
RIVAL, DIVAN, MILAN, CIGAR, DINAR, FINAL, VITAL, TITAN, VICAR, MINAH, MICAH, JIHAD, MIDAS, LILAC.
Obviously as it is hangman, go with the commonest letters of these first ie N, L,D or T.
If there is an "N" then think what words it could be, before choosing your next letter. If there is no "N", then I would go for an "L" next.
